This is a doodle from an ad for something called, "Frizz-Ease" by John Freida. Ballpoint pen on white sketchbook paper.Just stretching, really. No smile in those eyes, alas. I think I got too tight in the lower eyelids, for one thing.

Lorimer

I did another doodle last night. This is based on a photo on the Library of Congress photostream. I LOVE that photostream. I've spent hours going through all those old photos. They're amazing. Anyway, this is my version of Lorimer. Simple little ballpoint pen on white sketchbook paper. I would love to paint him, but first I have to remember how to paint.
